The Company wishes to announce that its Board of Directors, after due deliberation, has
decided to defer the proposed acquisition of the Steel Plant.
The decision to defer on the proposed acquisition of the Steel Plant was made after
taking into consideration of many factors, including the recent increase in the funding
costs, sudden huge escalation of iron-ore prices and also the depressed share price of
the Company.
Further announcement on the proposed acquisition will be made by the Company at the
appropriate time later.
